4 Ways To Organize Caps

Tired of caps laying around your room? We have you covered! Below we detail four ways to upgrade your cap storage no matter your space or budget.

Edit

The first, and most important step, for any organizing journey is to declutter your space. We recommend pulling out a full category in order to see everything you own and make informed decisions about what you are wearing. Pull out all your caps, and go through one-by-one, asking yourself the hard questions to decide whether to keep or donate. For more information on how to edit, check out our How To Declutter Like a Pro blog!

Drawer

If you have the luxury of additional drawer space in your closet, try filing your caps into a drawer. This way you are still able to see everything you have when you want to wear a cap, but they won’t be on display creating visual clutter. For larger drawers, use drawer dividers to separate between rows of caps.

TIP: Order your hats from dark to light to stay consistent and make closet cleanout a breeze!

Bin

Another way to reduce visual clutter is by utilizing a decorative bin! File your hats into the bin as if you’re putting them into a drawer, then tuck the bin on a shelf in your closet. We especially recommend this for front/entryway closets that often have little to no drawer space.

TIP: Don’t forget to label your bin using a bin clip label! They come in white, clear, and black to suit any style. In need of a label maker? Check out our favorite bluetooth option!

Hat Stand

These acrylic hat stands are great if you have a large collection you’re looking to display on a shelf. The stand creates a “drawer effect” allowing you to pull out the organizer and see all of your caps at once!

Hooks

Hooks are another great way to display your hat collection. You can even get creative with this and add your favorite, or sentimental, hats to a gallery wall to create visual interest and functional decor! Decorative hooks come in a variety of finishes to fit any style!
