4 Ways To Organize Your Purses

At Horderly we are passionate about creating customized spaces that perfectly fit your lifestyle. When you open your closet, we want you to feel like you are looking at your own personal store organized just for you! We focus on preserving what you own so that the items you love maintain their quality over time. One of our favorite ways to make that happen is by organizing your purse collection. Below we walk you through how to organize purses of all sizes to help you find what you need, shop less, and create the closet of your dreams!
Small Purses & Clutches

Smaller purses and clutches can be tricky to organize and usually end up stacked and shoved to the back of high shelves or laying in a pile on the floor of the closet. Instead we recommend displaying these items in a clutch divider. These beautiful acrylic dividers come with curved edges to avoid any unnecessary wounds when reaching for your clutches. The filing system allows you to see and access all of your beloved clutches at once. These can be used on a shelf individually or placed side by side for larger collections.
Medium Purses

Another purse problem we see often is the purse avalanche where multiple bags are placed on a shelf together and end up toppling over every time you reach for one. That’s why we love using acrylic shelf dividers when organizing medium sized purses. Not only do they create separation between purses, but they also provide some structure to bags that have trouble standing on their own.
Large Handbags

For large handbags we always recommend adding purse stuffers to maintain the structural integrity of your bags. Until recently, purse stuffers have been incredibly expensive to obtain, but these satin purse stuffers start at just $15! Available in two sizes, these satin pillows ensure your bags stay in good condition and sit upright on your shelf.
Daily Grab & Go Bags

For your main squeeze purse or tote, consider hanging a hook on the inside of your closet door for easy access! Command hooks are a great renter friendly solution and come in a variety of finishes including large white hooks, medium matte black hooks, and large brushed nickel hooks.
No shelf space? No problem! We love using these chrome and acrylic purse hooks to maximize hanging rod storage when other storage is lacking. Just place the hook on the hanging rod and make accessing your bags a breeze!
